A friendly and informal group who meet on
Wednesdays 10.30am - 12.30pm. They specialise in
portrait painting. Usually about 8 - 10 persons
participate. New members are always welcome. Are

Birdwatching Group

An entertaining indoor programme of slide shows
and guest speakers is held at Wilmslow Guild on
the last Friday of each month from September to
April, starting at 7.45 p.m. Our popular outdoor
programme runs from October until May. It includes
local car trips, monthly coach trips further
afield, and an annual
weekend away to a bird-rich location.
Our lively, informal mixed group of birdwatchers
always welcomes new members, both beginners and
experienced. Our aim is to make birdwatching
enjoyable and fun for all. Experienced members are
always willing to assist new-comers with their
birdwatching and to help with bird identification
and equipment.

This group forms part of the North West England
and North Wales region of the Institute of Advanced
Motorists. The group is run on a voluntary basis
and is affiliated to the Institute of Advanced
Motorists.
The group was set up with the objective of
promoting higher standards of driving, therefore
increasing road safety among members of the
public within Wilmslow and surrounding areas.
Our aim is to assist drivers to prepare for
and pass the Advanced Driving Test set by the
Institute of Advanced Motorists.
