A newly built building to commemorate the life of L. S. Lowry and exhibit a wide variety of his work. Other modern and contemporary art is also displayed and there are up to 16 specific exhibitions each year.
The building also houses two theatres, an interactive exhibition, a restaurant, a bookshop and other facilities.
The buildings are open every day: 9.30am - midnight.
